There is no way of telling any truth behind the authorship of a website except through age old method of getting to know the person through social media: references and recommendations. You are more than welcome to ask questions about setting up a new website. It did take me a year to learn .html and become familiar with internet jargons to feel confident of handling a self-hosted wordpress blog on me own.
