What if I told you I created this website on my own? Will you be impressed enough to want to know how to do it or will you think, “why do you even bother”? It does not matter what you think. For me for you ….lol… thinking about Randy Jackson for a moment there, I am just so glad that you actually found me!
- The domain name of this site, “The Absorbent Mind” is inspired by is inspired by a book of the same name, “The Absorbent Mind”, written by Maria Montessori, founder of the Montessori Method of Education. I studied the book for more than two years.
- The exciting part about being able to create my own website like this one is that it feels as if I have embarked on a journey with myself, and I didn’t have to buy any air tickets to board an airplane!
- Not many people enjoy the idea of using the computer all day long. I was not interested in it too. Since I have met many people online, I have become more certain that the internet has given me a way to leave home without stepping out of the house.

Hey @Jinny, without any doubt, I did this website on my own and I am a certified Montessori teacher. There is no way of telling any truth behind the authorship of a website except through age old method of getting to know the person through social media: references and recommendations. You are more than welcome to ask questions about setting up a new website. It did take me a year to learn .html and become familiar with internet jargons to feel confident of handling a self-hosted wordpress blog on me own. But once I got the hang of it, I was able to get this one done in a few days.
